The hour-long lunchtime event underscored the critical role of innovation in fostering sustainable business models. Panelists explored various topics, such as the importance of designing products for longevity, the benefits of recycling and reusing materials, and the potential for new local business opportunities within the circular economy. They also discussed policy frameworks and incentives that can support businesses in their sustainability efforts.
Participants were encouraged to think creatively and approach the implementation of circular economy principles in their organizations without feeling overwhelmed. The event concluded with a lively networking session, where attendees exchanged ideas and explored potential collaborations.
The third edition of the COSTAATT Innovation Cafe Series takes place on November 27th, where the College will continue to provide a platform for thought leadership and knowledge sharing, helping to drive the transition towards a more inclusive and economically viable future.
