Before you Apply
Application Periods
Semester I (September Intake):
Applications are accepted from March to August.
Semester II (January Intake):
Applications are accepted from October to January.

Nursing Programmes Deadline:
Early Deadline: 1 May 2026
Regular Deadline: 22 June 2026
Radiography Programme Deadline:
Regular Deadline: 15 May 2026
All Programmes (excluding Nursing \ Radiography):

New and Transfer Applicants
Please complete this application if you are:
- A new applicant: – someone who has never attempted a course or programme of study at COSTAATT, OR
- A transfer applicant: – someone who has previously attempted or completed a course or programme at another tertiary institution.
Re-Admission Applicants
Please complete this application if you have previously applied to COSTAATT and were accepted and enrolled in a course or programme of study (whether resuming studies in the same programme or commencing a new programme).

Placement Tests
- Applicants who receive an offer of a place in a programme may receive a placement assessment invitation from the Admissions Department. Do not be alarmed! If you do not pass or do as well as you expect, this will not affect your entry into the College.
- You may be exempt from taking the evaluations in English Language and Mathematics if you already meet the requisite level of achievement. The results of these assessments help us determine whether you may benefit from academic support. If needed, we will place you in the appropriate level course to help you succeed in your major.
- Please note that placement assessments are conducted online.
Exemptions
Please note the following persons are exempted from taking the placement test as detailed below:
- Persons who completed Bachelor’s and Associate degrees
- CAPE/GCE A’Level graduates with grades 1,2 or 3/ A,B or C in Communication Studies or Literature
- CSEC O’Level graduates with 1 or 2 in English A / GCE O’Level graduates with grade A or B
- CAPE/GCE A’Level graduates with grades 1,2 or 3/ A, B or C in Mathematics or Physics
- CSEC/GCE O’Level graduates with grades 1,2 or 3/ A,B or C in Additional Mathematics
- CSEC/GCE O’Level graduates with grades 1,2 or 3 / A, B or C in Mathematics

Interviews or Auditions
Nursing, Health and Medical Science Technologies Programmes:
- Selection Interview: All applicants to the Nursing, Radiography and Medical Laboratory Technology Programmes will be required to attend an interview.
- Candidates will be evalutated on their communication skills, demonstrated commitment to the healthcare field, and understanding of the program. Applicants will be notified of the interview schedule after the initial application review.
Performing Arts Programmes (Music):
- Audition Requirement: Applicants for the Performing Arts Music programme must complete an audition as part of the admissions process.
- Audition Details:
- A recorded performance showcasing a solo performance on your chosen instrument or voice, along with sight-reading or a brief interview will be utilised to assess applicants to this programme.
- Applicants will then be notified of the admissions decision and further instructions once the application is processed.

- Be prepared to discuss your experience, qualifications, and motivation.
- Notifications will be sent via email with detailed instructions, dates, and requirements.
