Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – 12 February 2025 The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) and FT Farfan Limited have formalised a partnership aimed at advancing research, academic programmes, and community development initiatives focused on sustainability.
At a ceremony held at COSTAATT’s City Campus, Dr Keith Nurse, President of COSTAATT, and Natalie Karamath, General Manager of FT Farfan Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), cementing their commitment to environmental stewardship. Through this collaboration, COSTAATT’s School of Environment, Circular Economy and Sustainability and FT Farfan will work together on joint research projects, curriculum development, the creation of a sustainable garden, and various community outreach initiatives.
Speaking at the event, Dr Keith Nurse highlighted the importance of this initiative in addressing environmental challenges and preparing students for a sustainable future. “This partnership with FT Farfan represents a major step in COSTAATT’s mission to empower our students with the hands-on expertise needed to drive meaningful change. By combining our resources and knowledge, we aim to create a positive impact on our community’s environment,” he stated.
Echoing this sentiment, Natalie Karamath, General Manager of FT Farfan Limited, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are thrilled to partner with COSTAATT on these vital sustainability initiatives.
