QuITE Awards 2012
The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) is proud to announce that it secured the top prize in the recent Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago’s (ACTT’s) competition for Quality in Tertiary Education (QuITE) awards, at a ceremony held at the National Academy of the Performing Arts (NAPA), on Friday 18 November 2011.
COSTAATT, which was the first tertiary institution in Trinidad and Tobago to gain accredited status with the ACTT in November 2010, was awarded the first place in the category Excellence for an Established Quality Management System overshadowing the efforts of both the University of Trinidad Tobago (UTT) and the University of the West Indies (UWI) who placed second and third respectively.
In its brief eleven year history, the College, as a part of its mission to transform lives, has maintained a staunch commitment to continuous improvement in all its operations, including the implementation of rigorous academic quality standards based on international benchmarks.

The College eagerly looks forward to January 2012, when it will welcome students in previously underserved areas of east Trinidad to its new Sangre Grande campus. Plans for the construction of a 30 acre state-of-the-art flagship campus in Chaguanas are currently underway as the College prepares for this new phase of its development.
