We’re pleased to share that on, June 1st, 2023, Dr. Keith Nurse, President of COSTAATT, and Mr. Omar Mohammed, CEO of the Cropper Foundation, signed a ground-breaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the COSTAATT City Campus.
This MoU marks the start of a collaboration between COSTAATT and the Cropper Foundation on an Inter-American Bank (IDB)-Lab-funded project focused on the Catalysation of the Circular Economy in Trinidad and Tobago.
Under this partnership, the aim is to map the local circular economy and develop a robust support mechanism for circular economy business ideas within T&T. Our team will explore innovative solutions that promote sustainability, resource efficiency, and economic growth.
This venture is a testament to COSTAATT’s commitment to driving positive change and fostering a more sustainable future for Trinidad and Tobago. By leveraging the collective expertise and resources of COSTAATT and the Cropper Foundation, we are confident that we can make a significant impact on the circular economy landscape.
COSTAATT is immensely grateful to the IDB-Lab for their support in making this project a reality. Their funding will fuel our efforts to unlock the full potential of the circular economy and drive sustainable development in our nation.
