COSTAATT Celebrates Link-Up Programme Partners at Appreciation Luncheon

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (December 12, 2024): Following the successful completion of its first phase, the COSTAATT Link-Up Programme, a ground-breaking initiative dedicated to providing education and reintegration opportunities for underprivileged individuals, hosted an appreciation luncheon for its valued external partners on December 11th, 2024, at the COSTAATT City Campus.

The event acknowledged the critical role played by these partners in shaping the programme’s success. Guests included representatives from the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, NGOs, private businesses, and educators.

Dr. Keith Nurse, President of COSTAATT, delivered heartfelt remarks expressing his gratitude for the unwavering support received. He emphasised the collective effort required to empower individuals and envisions the programme’s future expansion beyond COSTAATT, creating a wider national and regional impact.

The COSTAATT Link-Up Programme aims to empower incarcerated citizens, deportees, socially displaced persons, and at-risk youth by providing pathways to higher education and reintegration. The first cohort of 17 participants successfully completed the programme’s first phase in September 2024. The second cohort starts in January 2025.
