General Eligibility Requirements
To ensure your application is complete, please review the general eligibility requirements for the programme under consideration:
English Proficiency:
If your previous education was not conducted in English, proof of English language proficiency may be required.
Academic Requirements:
Meet the minimum academic qualifications for your program of choice. If you do not meet the minimum matriculation requirements you may be able to access the COMPASS programme which offers a range of preparatory courses in areas including English, mathematics, life skills and natural sciences. These courses are designed to provide students with the opportunity to help develop the knowledge and skills required to meet the academic standards of their chosen major.
Required Documents
- Official Transcripts from all previous institutions
- Proof of Identity: Valid passport biodata page
- CARICOM Certificate of Citizenship (if applicable)
- Student Permit for all applicants without a CARICOM Certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (if your previous education was not in English)
- Medical Certificate/Immunization record (only required for certain programs such as Environmental Health)
Note:
Any documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
Qualifications may need to be assessed by:
- Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago (ACTT)
- Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD), Ministry of Education
Qualifications supplied will be assessed to determine equivalence to programme entry requirements.
