Programme Description
The Short Course in Introduction to Infection Prevention and Control is designed to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of infectious diseases, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and control strategies. This course aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in the prevention, management and spread of infectious diseases and hospital acquired infections.
Requirements
Minimum entry into this programme is 3 CSEC passes or demonstrable evidence of literacy skills. 3.2 Persons employed as cleaners, wards maids, ward attendants, domestic workers or experience with cleaning or domestic work in a healthcare institution may also apply to this course.
