Ken Gordon School of Communication, Creative and Digital Media
Digital Media and Communication

Programme Description

In an increasingly digitized world where attention spans are less than ten seconds, it is critical to use effective visuals to capture significant moments, enhance messages, boost engagement, and ignite social media. These are some of the skills with which the Certificate in Photography and Video will equip students; these will allow them to tell stories using powerful still and moving images.
Requirements
Minimum entry into the certificate is three (3) CSEC passes with Grades I, II, (and III after 1998); English A must be one of them.
Mature Entry: Applicants over 25, with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience are also considered for admission. Such candidates must submit detailed curriculum vitae and a portfolio of their work with the application form. The Department may also conduct interviews to determine the candidate’s readiness to pursue the degree programme.
