Programme Description

The Certificate in Graphic Design will develop students’ basic skills in the latest technologies, while building a foundation in design. Participants will learn the elementary theories of layout, type, colour and illustration, which will enable them to produce flyers, call cards, banners, and graphics for social media posts, to name a few.
Requirements
Minimum entry into the certificate is three (3) CSEC passes with Grades I, II, (and III after 1998); English A must be one of them.
Mature Entry: Applicants over 25, with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience are also considered for admission. Such candidates must submit detailed curriculum vitae and a portfolio of their work with the application form. The Department may also conduct interviews to determine the candidate’s readiness to pursue the certificate programme.
