Programme Description

This degree targets persons interested in learning the art of persuasion and effective communication. It is also suited to anyone with a passion for creativity who sees himself or herself in a career that transforms lives through the power of words and images. Recent secondary school graduates who wish to pursue a career in creative advertising, as well as persons who are already employed in the industry but who have no formal training and are keen on improving their skills, are ideal candidates for this programme.
Requirements
Minimum five (5) CSEC/GCE O’ Level subjects, inclusive of English A and Mathematics, Grades 1,2,3* or A, B, C. *Grade 3 accepted if attained in June 1998 and beyond.
Mature Entry: Applicants over 25, with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience are also considered for admission. Such candidates must submit detailed curriculum vitae and a portfolio of their work with the application form. The Department may also conduct interviews to determine the candidate’s readiness to pursue the certificate programme.
