Assistive Technology for Young Children

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for providing assistive technology to young children. It recognises that technology has changed the world. Children who cannot experience the world and learn from it typically require additional support. This course provides strategies for providing those supports in the home and in early/elementary education settings. Through this course, teachers, parents and caregivers, having explored the theoretical and practical experiences, will be able to provide support to those children whose opportunities have been compromised.
