Understanding Learning Disabilities
This course introduces participants to the concepts of learning disabilities and provides parents, teachers and caregivers with strategies for teaching children who display characteristics of these disabilities. Each disability is analysed in terms of its definition, prevalence, causes, signs and symptoms, educational implications, interventions and strategies for transition.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
