COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to introduce participants to occupational safety and health requirements of the current environment. It outlines the process for conducting health and safety assessments and suggests possible solutions and guidelines to mitigate these hazards. The course also identifies the responsibilities of management and supporting agencies in promoting good practice in occupational safety and health. It also exposes participants to the principles of effective programme design for general OSH interventions.
