Occupational Safety and Health
This certificate course is designed to introduce participants to occupational safety and health as a field of study and as a profession. It covers the theory and history of occupational hazard control, the effects of hazards on organizational control and productivity, safety and health legislation, accident causation and the responsibility of management and supporting agencies in promoting good practice in occupational safety and health. This course will also cover the principles of planning and implementing safety and health programmes.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
