Radiological Technologists

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

 

The programme is offered in collaboration with The Michener Institute of Education at UHN (Toronto Canada)

Participants will learn about basic drug and contrast pharmacology; preparing and administering radiographic contrast materials; recognising drug reactions and interactions, and inserting and maintain IVs. The didactic component and demonstrations will be supplemented by hands-on practical sessions. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion after passing a brief written exam and lab certification of practical skills.

Note: This course is approved for 6.0 Category “A” credits for Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist (CAMRT)
