COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course participants will be exposed to the knowledge and techniques required to become an effective tour guide. Participants will explore and engage with content in preparation for the delivery of educational as well as entertaining presentations on specific sites used in tour guiding.

This course provides participants with a clear understanding of:

• Tour itinerary
• Tour safety regulations
• Management of a tour
• Tour guiding as a business

Participants will be introduced to tourist places of interest, and provided with in-depth information on the geography, history and culture of Trinidad and Tobago to enable them to successfully conduct tours.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Persons who are patriotic and passionate about promoting and showcasing the country.
• Having an outgoing and energetic personality will be an asset.

Credential earned:
You will receive a Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion which is recognized by the Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides Association
