As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and preparing our students for the digital age, COSTAATT will become a fully cashless institution effective June 30th, 2025.

 

This initiative is one of several exciting advancements as we celebrate our 25th year of service in tertiary education. Moving to a cashless model will enhance security, improve efficiency, and help our students build essential financial literacy and FinTech skills.

 

We understand that change requires support, and we are here to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. This page provides guidance on accepted payment methods, access to support services, and answers to frequently asked questions.

 


Financial Fridays

COSTAATT has collaborated with the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre (TTIFC) and Republic Bank to offer students the opportunity to access bank accounts and other financial products on Friday April 4th at City Campus from 10am to 3pm. Join us at this event to do on-the-spot bank account applications using RepublicOnboard and to learn more about:

Documents Required for Opening an Account with Republic Bank

You must be a natural born citizen of Trinidad & Tobago, 18 years or older, and be a new customer to Republic Bank, with a:

        • •  Valid email address
        • •  Valid Trinidad and Tobago Identification, i.e. Driver’s License/Permit, Passport, National ID Card
        •    (Please note that if the  customer uploads his Driver’s License/Permit s/he will be prompted to upload another form of ID or their Birth Certificate to prove
        •     their Trinidad & Tobago citizenship.)
        • •  Utility bill (no more than 6 months old)
        • •  Letter of authorisation or lease agreement (where applicable)
        • •  Job letter or payslip (where applicable and not older than 6 months)

COSTAATT ePay

What is COSTAATT ePay?

A secure online system for paying tuition, fees, workshops, and other college services.

How do I access it?

Log in to Self Service Banner and under the student tab select ‘Online Payment’ and then select COSTAATT ePay.

Will help be available for using the COSTAATT ePay?

Yes, manuals and other resources have already been posted to the portal.

Bank Accounts & Financial Services

How can I open a bank account?

Visit our Financial Fridays events, hosted with partner banks on campus.

What services are offered during Financial Fridays?

Account setup, debit/credit card applications, and info on online banking.

Bank Transfers

How do I make a bank transfer to COSTAATT?

Contact the Bursar’s Office for bank account details.

What should I include in the transfer description?

Your name, student or staff ID, and purpose of payment e.g. tuition for semester 202520.

How long do transfers take to process?

Typically 1–3 business days.

Debit/Credit Cards

Where can I use my card at COSTAATT?

Cards will be accepted at all campus cashiers.

Will there be any additional fees?

Card fees depend on your bank or card provider.

International Students and Payments

I’m an international student. Can I still make payments from an overseas account?

Yes. International students can make payments via bank transfers or using COSTAATT ePay with a credit or debit card. Please ensure your bank allows international transactions.

Receipts and Payment Confirmation

Will I receive a receipt after making a payment?

Yes. All transactions made through COSTAATT ePay and card payments will generate digital receipts sent via email for your records.

Technical Support

What if I have trouble accessing or using COSTAATT ePay?

For technical assistance you can contact the IT Helpdesk. For queries regarding fees or charges to your account contact the Bursar’s Office. Support guides and troubleshooting tips will also be available on the portal.

Parents/Guardians Making Payments

Can parents or guardians make payments on my behalf?

Yes. Students can ‘authorize users’ in ePay to make payments to their account. For payments at the campus cashier, payments can be made by anyone who has your student ID and the correct details regarding the type of payment being made.

Refunds

How will refunds be processed?

A: Refunds will be processed by the Bursar via bank transfer only.

What if I don’t have a bank account or card?

Attend Financial Fridays to get assistance with opening an account.

Will exceptions be made for cash payments?

No. All payments will be cashless after June 30, 2025.
