This course provides the best practices of effective classroom management. The participant will examine classroom management theories and empirical approaches to classroom management and apply these models to classroom situations and school’s behavior policy. In this course, participants will focus on implementing engaging instruction, and addressing interventions for minor, major and cultural misbehaviours, and specific special needs issues. Additionally, participants will apply skills in establishing effective classroom rules and procedures, and developing meaningful teacher-student, student-student, and teacher-parent relationships. The course is specifically designed for educators at all levels and encourages them to develop confidence, and to fulfill their professional responsibilities.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
